6. The Complete and Unabridged Edition of "The Wealth of Nations" by Adam Smith and Introduction and Marvelous Index by Robert Reich, Labor Secretary for the Clinton Administration I have used Reich's marvelous expanded index to read about the lies that our dear Republicans and Greenspan has told us about the unregulated Free Market benefits. Actually Adam Smith said Bankers Must Be Regulated and Tells Us Why!
7. Raj Patel's (The Value of Nothing) shows his marvelous understanding of economic theories and even goes through philosophical theories of our Economic System in "The Great Transformation: The Political and Economic Origins of Our Time" by Karl Polanyi with a marvelous New Introduction by Nobel Laureate Joseph E. How Different Types of People Will Be Affected by the Health Care Overhaul
NY Times: Not on Web Front Page (That is why I subscribe to the paper edition. Hard to find things online that we do not know about due to Editor Choice on What is Important. Blog by Tara Parker-Pope has it, but not most popular so if you did not read the blogs, you might have missed this one. It is important to read them from your favorite writers including Krugman. Because they are under less editorial control who might change the title to make them more obscure. Our local Register Guard does put an appropriate title to his columns and to stories by the New York Times.
Few realize that all the front page stories and headlines are prepared by the Editors and first six paragraphs are often selected by the editor and many times does not convey the most important reason why the reporter wrote the article. About half are Propaganda Pieces since before 1928 when Edward Bernays published his book "Propaganda" which is now in paperback and has a great introduction by Krispin Miller
(These are the biggest gripe by reporters not expressed publicly, but I have read books by retires NY Times reporters and editors who point this out. Go to most popular page Which covers most e-mailed, most blogged about, and most searched. None covered it. Jim)

CNN has A FORMER AIPAC, Israel's lobbying arm giving us the most political news about Israel and threatens politicians to favor Israel's now Right Wing failed policies for the security of Jews worldwide. Who? Wolf Blitzer, who worked for the Israelis and was a member of AIPAC. Niall Ferguson who wrote about the origins of money said on PBS that in the Financial Panic of 1873, Jews were targeted for violence and hatred. I am concerned that our media concentrating on Goldman Sachs and not JP Morgan too as the perpetrator of the financial markets were they got special deals from Republican Sec of Treasury Paulson and only by the Obama administration only because financial collapse of our Credit Market with many Money Markets unable to give their money back including many towns and cities was starting to happen. They had no time to wait.

ANNALS OF ECONOMICS

- ANNALS OF ECONOMICS about Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner…
Note that really important propaganda pieces are often primarily written by reporters who rarely report for the New York Times and use someone like Risen as a subordinate co-author. White Water and over charged Lewinsky scandal. Obermann, who quit MSNBC during the Lewinsky Scandal because he refused to report on this travesty when the Republicans were doing far worst adulterous relationships is now the star of the MSNBC news team along with Rachel Maddow at http://countdown.msnbc.com and http://rachel.msnbc.com respectively has given us more centrist news instead of center-right or sometimes far right on FOX and Now on CNN.
Not many noticed that ABC fired a lot of reporters from the ABC News. I have seen the local ABC local news the most liberal now in Eugene giving us National Right Wing rhetoric only! The local CBS news uses the same theme as Fox Cable to present how Democratic politicians are failing.

How Different Types of People Will Be Affected by the Health Care Overhaul
On Tuesday, President Obama signed into law a sweeping overhaul of the nation’s health care system, approved by the Senate on Christmas Eve and by the House on Sunday. The House also adopted a package of changes — agreed to in negotiations among House and Senate Democrats and the White House — which is being considered by the Senate. The legislation will tighten regulation of insurance companies and is expected to extend medical coverage to more than 30 million uninsured Americans. While it is impossible to gauge the precise impact of the overhaul, since many options vary by location, below are some of the main ways the overhaul will affect certain types of households. ... http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/03/24/us/politics/20100319-health-care-effect.htm#tab=5
